It’s time to slip on your cowboy boots - Briana Renea is performing at Spirit Mountain Casino! Renea was recently awarded with the IMEA Country Female Artist Of The Year, so stop by and watch her FREE performance in the Mountain View Sports Bar.
Renea’s Country Roots
Born and raised in Canby, Oregon, Briana Renea grew up raising cattle, goats, and horses on her family farm. She spent her childhood and teenage years enjoying the smell of freshly cut hay as she practiced to become a competitive equestrian, showing horses professionally as a member of the American Stockhorse and Western States Stock Horse Association circuits. She prides herself in her country roots and is planted solidly in family tradition, and writes about her experiences growing up in the heart of the Pacific Northwest.
A Must-See with Uniquely Inspired Compositions
Sophisticated yet spunky, her music is heavily influenced by ‘80s rock (such as the Eagles, Genesis, Phil Collins, and Fleetwood Mac) and ‘90s country music (like Reba, the Dixie Chicks, LeeAnn Rimes, and Jo Dee Messina). Her music blends together classical elements of country jive with the fiery lyrics of old-school rock. “Chasin Trouble,” her newest single, will have you up on your feet and dancing along as her stage presence and knack for dance is a fan favorite at fairs, festivals, and venues throughout the Northwest.
An Up-and-Coming Oregon Artist
Renea is currently studying at Oregon State University but dedicates time away for her passion: singing, songwriting, and performing onstage. She began touring in 2013 and has performed at nearly 50 gigs in the Northwest since, including the Multnomah County Fair, Portland Rose Festival, and the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. Her drive and desire have led her to work with notable country recording artists such as Joe Nichols, Old Dominion, Canaan Smith, Love and Theft, Diamond Rio, and Sammy Kershaw.
