Jo Koy “Breaks the Mold” When He Brings His Comedy Tour To Spirit Mountain Casino

October 3, 2018

World-renowned comedian and actor, Jo Koy, is bringing his acclaimed comedy tour, “Break the Mold” to Spirit Mountain Casino this holiday! Get your tickets today for his December 15th performance!

Koy started his comedy career in Las Vegas back in 1994. Moving from open mic nights, to selling tickets door-to-door, to finally being noticed and appearing on BET’s ComicView, Koy’s career in comedy is as versatile as it is hilarious.

Alongside appearing on two seasons of ComicView, Koy has also appeared on other unscripted comedy and variety shows like Jamie Foxx Presents: Laffapalooza!, Showtime at the Apollo, and VH1’s lauded commentary series I Love the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s.

However, it was the release of his 2017 Netflix Special, Jo Koy: Live from Seattle, that cemented Koy as a household name in comedy. Now, he sells out arenas. We’re thrilled to have him bring his stand-up set to Spirit Mountain Casino!

In 2009, The Jo Koy Foundation hosted an event called “Hilarity For Charity” which helped raise money for the Children’s Hospital of Orange County. While a lot of Jo Koy’s humor can be crass or off-color, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about helping children. Recently, Jo Koy has been urging fans to donate to the American Red Cross in an effort to assist the people of Hawaii.

Alongside his comedy, Jo Koy has an impressive Instagram following where he posts humorous videos, radio clips, and other on-the-road antics daily. We recommend giving him a follow!

A second Netflix special is set for release in 2019, and filming will take place on November 24th at the Neal S. Blaisdell Arena in Honolulu, Hawaii. But before that, get your tickets for his performance at Spirit Mountain!
