July’s Free Entertainment

  • Date: July 1, 2016

Pop, rock, country, reggae -- no matter what’s on your most-played playlist, it’s likely to be well-represented on Spirit Mountain Casino’s free entertainment calendar this month. This is what’s in store for July:

Overstand: Friday, July 1st and Saturday, July 2nd from 9pm to 1am
Gear up for reggae, funk, and just a little bit of experimentation that will get your feet moving. This Oregon four-piece band keeps things groovy and always sets the tone for a laid-back and fun evening.

Cynthia West & Ruckus: Friday, July 8th and Saturday, July 9th from 9pm to 1am
Five musicians from across the USA all settled in central Oregon and created Ruckus, a band that delivers a setlist that spans genres. This self-defined “musical collage” hits disco, Motown, country, and rock ‘n roll, and they’ve got the presence to always deliver a ruckus.

Melissa Mickelson Band: Friday, July 15th and Saturday, July 16th from 9pm to 1am
After rising to fame with a cover of “I Was Country (When Country Wasn't Cool),” Melissa Mickelson has brought her modern country spirit to the heart of the Willamette Valley. Enjoy originals from her new EP and that Nashville sound that has created a star.

M80’s: Friday, July 22nd 9pm to 1am
Your favorite hits from the 80’s are back. Get ready to dance during a night loaded with music from Prince, Bowie, Madonna, and all of the other greats. Bring your friends for a show filled with all the awesome music from your past.

Phamous Phaces: Saturday, July 23rd from 9pm to 1am
AC/DC, The Doors, and all of your other favorite classic hits come to the stage when Phamous Phaces are in town. With their great covers and authentic sound, this group connects you to all of those songs that will never grow old.

The Big Time: Friday, July 29th and Saturday, July 30th from 9pm to 1am
Drums, awesome music, and lots of noise: Sounds like a set from The Big Time. With plenty of percussion, hard rocker roots, and some heavy metal to boot, this Oregon group is giving us the best way to close out the month: With plenty of energy.

Between weekends filled with free concerts, head to Spirit Mountain on Wednesday night for brain-bending entertainment from the Oregon Trivia. From 8pm-10pm, you’ll test the limits of your knowledge -- and maybe even come out the winner.
