More than 120 albums sold, 50 years in the industry, and virtually every music award under his belt - it isn’t a stretch to say that Kenny Rogers holds a permanent place in country music. And as we gear up for a special opportunity to hear “The Gambler” and special guest Linda Davis live at Spirit Mountain Casino, we’re hoping that a few songs, in particular, are on the setlist:

1. “The Gambler”
This 1978 song earned Rogers his nickname, a Grammy award, a #1 Country Billboard hit, and a rare chart-topping crossover on the Pop chart, too. Since then, it remains a country favorite and has been covered by dozens of artists, including Johnny Cash and Blake Shelton.

2. “Lady”
Holding the #47 spot on Billboard's All Time Top 100, “Lady” was written by fellow music great Lionel Ritchie and recorded by Rogers in 1980. It was also one of the few songs to ever top three charts simultaneously: Country, Hot 100, and Adult Contemporary.

3. “Islands in the Stream”
Rogers teamed up with country sweetheart Dolly Parton for this 1983 single, which was written by the Bee Gees. 2 million sales later, this platinum-certified song was selected by CMT pollers as the best country duet ever.

4. “Daytime Friends”
This title track set the tone for Roger’s 1977 album, which solidified him as a successful solo musician after parting ways with The First Edition the year before. It stole the #1 spot on Billboard Hot Country Singles and charted in the United Kingdom, Canada, and New Zealand, too.

5. “Don't Fall in Love With a Dreamer”
Two-time Grammy award winner Kim Carnes teamed up with Rogers for this 1980 hit. This was the first single - and a pivotal part - of Gideon, a collaborative album that follows the life of a Texan cowboy.

The show kicks off on Saturday, July 9th at 8pm. Tickets are completely sold out online, but there’s a silver lining: Enterour giveaway contest to get two complimentary tickets to see Kenny Rogers up on the big stage and a one-night stay at the Lodge afterward.

To enter, just provide your name, email address, and phone number on our giveaway form between now and Tuesday, June 21st at 1pm. That’s all there is to it! We’ll treat you to two coveted seats for the Kenny Rogers concert on July 9th, and you’ll be able to unwind afterward in your complimentary standard room. See you at the show!
