TERRY FATOR

  • Date: March 15, 2016

Ready to experience more than 100 characters in a one-man show? On Saturday, May 14th, Terry Fator will be blending his ventriloquism and singing skills for an entirely new kind of comedy act.

The America’s Got Talent winner caught the eyes of American audiences (and judges Jerry Springer, Piers Morgan, David Hasselhoff, and Sharon Osbourne) by pairing puppets with classic hits. His one-of-a-kind routine inspired tough critic Simon Cowell to deem Fator, "One of the most talented people on the planet."

Before Fator became a hit on national television, he put his pipes to good use as the singer and eventually expanded into a unique brand of ventriloquist comedy. The native Texan had a knack for impersonating the greats, from Etta James to James Taylor to Roy Orbison. It took years for Fator to make his impressionist act a success, but the perseverance paid off: Fator was an opener for Reba McEntire, Garth Brooks, and Styx.

But it wasn’t until Fator took home America’s Got Talent’s $1 million top prize in 2007 that Terry Fator truly became a household name. Armed with puppets, pipes, and an infallible sense of humor, he wowed the world with an act that was as entertaining as it was touching. Judge Piers Morgan reflects on Fator’s success: “I think the biggest star of any of the talent shows around the world is Terry Fator. He was just earning $300 a week driving his van up and down America, trying to make his living as an entertainer in his mid-40’s, and now he’s one of the highest paid stars in the world.”

Today, Terry Fator is a regular at The Mirage Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, where his show, ‘Terry Fator: The Voice of Entertainment,’ is a consistent “Best of Las Vegas” award winner. On May 14th, Fator will make a rare appearance in the Pacific Northwest, where he will share the stage with his cast of puppets including Winston the Impersonating Turtle, Rusty the Robot, Emma Taylor, and Elvis wannabe Maynard Thompkins.

Tickets are on sale now and start at $35. Join us at 8 pm for the show, then stretch the evening fun with a night at theLodge. Spirit Mountain Casino is thrilled to welcome this comedic genius to the Willamette Valley for a very special evening of singing, celebrity impressions, and laughs.
