You can call him, “Tater Salad:” Ron White Heads to Spirit Mountain Casino!

February 6, 2019

One of the funniest and most successful comedians in America, Ron White visited Spirit Mountain Casino on April 20, 2019.

Born in the small town of Fritch, Texas, Ron White began his comedy career in 1986 opening for legends like Sam Kinison and Jeff Foxworthy. In 2000, White joined the Blue Collar Comedy Tour as a founding member alongside Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, and Bill Engvall.

The show stopped in more than 270 cities and played for sold-out audiences until 2006, becoming one of the most successful comedy tours of all time. Ron starred in three specials while on the tour: Blue Collar Comedy Tour: The Movie, Blue Collar Comedy Tour Rides Again, and Blue Collar Comedy Tour – One for The Road.

Ron’s next release, You Can’t Fix Stupid, netted him his first Grammy nomination in 2006. He followed with Behavioral Problems, and A Little Unprofessional, which was nominated for Best Comedy Album at the 56th Grammy Awards in 2013. Most recently, Ron released his first Netflix special, If You Quit Listening, I’ll Shut Up in 2018.

Outside of stand-up, Ron had a main cast role in the Showtime comedy series “Roadies” from Cameron Crowe. He has also appeared in major supporting roles in feature films including Horrible Bosses and Sex and The City 2.

With his sharp wit, unabashed honesty, and affinity for enjoying a cigar or two on stage, Ron White delivered a great show and Spirit Mountain Casino is excited to have had him grace our stage.
