Grand Ronde Tribal Council and Spirit Mountain Gaming, Inc. were once again generous and extended another 80 hours of paid leave to their employees. The total now stands at 400 hours (two and a half full months) for each employee including; hourly wages, paid time off, health insurance, and tips.
It is the sincere hope that this continued support of the staff during these challenging times will help alleviate some of the stress of our 1,100+ employees of the casino and their families. We are fortunate for the extraordinary generosity of the SMGI Board of Directors and Tribal Council.
“While an opening date has yet to be determined; we continue to work closely with our Board of Directors and Grand Ronde Tribal Council to monitor the ever changing situation. We have also taken this time to deep clean and sanitize the entire property as well as make many improvements to our parking lots and the surrounding grounds.” Stan Dillon, General Manager.
